The first year I lived in a "real house" I was excited to start a garden. I could not wait until spring, if I could plant all kinds of vegetables. While this seems like a good idea, it really was not. As Gardner again, I let my enthusiasm for the best in me. Fortunately that part of my family that I still have a beautiful garden this year.
Here are some tips I learned:
1 Make sure you have enough space
Some plants are larger than others and need more space.Be sure to make some plants more space than others, and expects to have enough sunlight for small plants. I'm dying small plans in recent years, because eventually end up in the shade.
2 Starting small
Do not plant anything, what you can find. Ask your garden store what is best in your area for beginners. Tomatoes work best, where I live, but do not work well in other areas.
3 Start with plants, seeds do not
Instead, toss the seeds into the ground,Start easy to buy plants that have already begun. They started at the right time of year by experts has been, and are much easier to grow.
4 Know your limits
If you only spend 10 minutes a day to make your garden that you have only a few plants. Weeds can quickly become a problem weed, so if you do not have much time, a large area that once occurring weeds.
I hope these ideas will help you in this spring when you start your first garden!
